    Well I just saved some money. Reinstalled drivers and no issues so far. The fan noise wasn't the card fan. I noticed the whole computer had a bad vibrate, come to find out one of the blades off my corsair H50 fan broke off causing my 5870 fan to be off balance.

    What is your VCore? Do you have it set on auto? If so change it to manual and try 1.18 and see if you can stay stable. If not bump it up one. I learned that if I leave my vcore on auto then it can set the voltage to high and get higher temps.

    Well I couldn't take it anymore :D and overclocked my CPU to 3.6. I just bump up the FSB to 400x9 and left all the voltages to auto.
