Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
FYI - Watch out for this guy in the future. He disappeared on me after receiving a money order and never shipped the item I bought.
Does anyone have advice on how to deal with this sort of thing? It was a postal money order and I still have the receipt. Can I do anything about it?
First my setup:
Athlon FX-60 @ ~~ 2800 (Cant pass Prime95 at 3.0Ghz sadly)
DFI CFX-3200
Ballistix PC-4000 4GB
Vista x64
I'd like to direct this question to Eclipse, since I know he has (years?) of experience with micron ICs, but anyone please feel free to chime in on this mystery.
So...
For sale, one unused, fresh from RMA (replacement) A8N32-SLI. Box includes everything, manuals, cables, discs, all unopened. Will post some pictures later today, but I'm sure all of you know what a motherboard looks like :)
Asking for 150$ shipped. Paypal perferred, other options considered...
I also have a problem with a lockup when ever I need to soft reboot my computer (ie a restart in windows or pressing the reset button).
My rig is rock solid overclocked, except for this one issue.
Is it possibly defective somewhere? I hate to RMA it and have the same issue :(
I thought that I saw a post some time back, probably from Eclipse, about an OCZ 2GB kit that uses Micron chips. However I cant find it now
Can anyone tell me which kit that is?
I saw a new slew of rebats from Monarch and I want to see if these are cheaper today!
Thanks
