    In the router config under port triggering, i set the trigger port to 5190 - 5190 then the forwarded ports to 24500 - 24505. Then on to ICQ settings...which by the way have nothing to do with Trillian, but that's beside the point. Make sure it's using port 5190...then you need to tell ICQ to...

    Why do you keep responding to this thread? Do you think ICQ uses a "special" port if you're using trillian? I can't recieve file transfers if I use the standalone ICQ client either...no Trillian involved. Now, maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think it's a Trillian issue. I think it's an ICQ...

    Thanks for your helpful response m8. And by helpful I mean not helpful at all. It's not trillian that's the problem here, it's the port ICQ uses for file transfers, and how I can get that port forwarded to allow me to recieve transfers. Anyone else have any ideas?

    Does anyone know how to get Trillian to accept file transfers behind a router? I use mainly ICQ through trillian and have tried forwarding port 5190, but it still won't work. I can send files but not recieve them. I have a Linksys model BEFSR41 ver.3, and I'm running Trillian pro 2.0.
