New High-end Mobile Computer Manufacturer Launched

I like it, nice looks, decent performance for the weight. Not as powerful as my Dell XPS but it a bit more 'mobile'.

    Widescreen laptops, yay or nay?

I regularly play City of Heroes at 1920x1200 on my XPS. I LOVE IT! I like it so much that I rarely play on my 19" CRT equiped desktop. Honestly for most gaming the 12x8 option is fine and runs very well. I use this machine for gaming and java development. It is really REALLY nice to have so...

    Good wireless mouse for laptop?

I use this Kensington mouse I use 2 rechargable AAA batteries in it. The batteries last for weeks under heavy use (gaming) before I need to swap them out. The receiver stores inside the mouse body when not in use and the mouse has a very good 'feel' to it. I've been very happy with it.

Need Help trying to figure out how this is a FRAUD ?

RUN AWAY! This is the classic Nigirian scam. The cashiers check is a fake and will bounce AFTER you pull the 2805 out and send it and the PC. You'll then lose the PC and the 3950 you deposited in the bank. So you'll have been taken for 1 used PC + $2805.00.

    mobility radeon 9800 available online!!

I'm waiting for Dell to send the email about the upgrade that they mentioned when I bought my XPS. Its supposed to come with free installation. My impatience is somewhat offset by my lack of desire to part with 350 bucks... or whatever the XPS upgrade offer ends up being. No one on the Dell...

    Do you really need it?

I have an XPS... I think that may make me king of the "I want it all..." crowd. I could list all kinds of clever rationalizations about why I bought the XPS but it really comes down to this. I needed a powerful portable computer, I had the money, so I bought a portable gaming computer. I...

I Need Serious Help, Laptop Decision Eminent!!!

I have an XPS (similiar to the 9100). I carry it back and forth to work each day in the XPS backpack. It is VERY heavy for a notebook computer. I love the XPS but I couldn't recommend it to anyone that plans on using it as a laptop. As a portable desktop replacement it is fantastic though. I...

    Inspiron 9100

its not so bad, you have to pump the volume up pretty high to get any benefit from it though. My XPS has the same set up. Certainly not as good as a pair of headphones but its not bad when showing off the system to groups of coworkers.

    ATI Mobility Radeon 9800

I have a Dell XPS with a MR 9700. It is a fantastic notebook as it is, but I'll be jumping all over the upgrade to the MR 9800 when it is offered. The performance benefits seem to be quite significant.
