• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Recommendations on proxy servers/another solution to my problem?

I do a lot of travel throughout the world... The problem I’m running in to is some of the applications I want to use while I’m on the road require that I have an IP that is based in America. I figure a proxy server should do the trick -- filter my “mobile” (in other words, constantly changing...

NetLimiter should do what your looking for... I love it -- use it all the time http://www.netlimiter.com/ Not free, but not outrageously expensive either. Edit: oh... sorry... didn't see that you were looking to build a router. Well you might want to check out netlimiter anyway --...

Suggestions on network diagnostic software (for a specific task)?

I’m looking for something that will allow me to take and examine the network and then examine a non-functioning workstation and tell me what needs to be fixed on the workstation to make it communicate with the network... Similar to the way Fluke’s NetTool Pro works...

Why do many new demos make you reboot before playing?

Yup. Crackers use the demo code to figure out how to crack the full version... Which is why more and more demo's are coming with protection. One of the latest demos that installs starforce is the new King Kong demo (the Peter Jackson movie).

Big 175" Screen for under 20 bucks?

Uh... thats a negative on that one there chief... If you follow the Lumenlab plans everything prices out to just over $400, and that’s using a store bought LCD. It could even be cheaper if you really scavenge around and find a inexpensive LCD. Most of the people on the lumenlabs forums built...
