    6800 hands down. Don't even consider an FX card with a 300 dollar budget... Plus as the regular 6800's are around 270 or so for eVGA or similar, he'll have cash leftover for other goodies. Win-win situation.

    Powerstrip is an overclocking program. I like it, as it's the only program I've tried that will take my card as high as it is. Riva tuner stops me at 850. :mad:
