    At Fry's Electronics this weekend, there is an ad for an AMD Athlon XP 2400+ with an ECS K7VTA3 8.0c motherboard (onboard LAN but no video) for a combo total of $79.99. So, add a stick of RAM for $25-50 and you're looking at a whole new system for just over $100. I'm thinking of getting one...

    Folding on Win9x

    My experience with P2's (~300 MHz) has not been good, as far as borging and being stable, etc. I've got a P3-600 that's rock solid, though, so your 450's might be good. The P3-600 doesn't seem to have any problem at all in it's "office environment".
