Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Quick question:
Where is the serial number for the A7N8X?
What I'm doing:
Going to RMA a dead A7N8X 2.00, but I don't have the box (where the serial no. is definitely printed). Trying to discern which number on the motherboard is the serial no. I assume it is one of the stickers but I...
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for software to design circuits with (like the ones we see and talk about here)? And I'm not referring to a graphics program, I mean, software which understands circuitry. TIA
Radioshack sells some overpriced packages of 3M double-sided strips. I wouldn't consider it tape, it's pretty much permanent unless you really change your mind. The double-sided tape on a roll that looks like regular scotch tape would probably NOT work. THAT would be ghetto, adhesive strips...
thx for the replies and info, but I think I'm gonna have to scrap the idea. I'm too new to electronics and this would be biting off more than I can chew, something I hate doing. Maybe if it decides to rain for a month :D
Hi. I don't know how feasible it is, but I'd like to try using a contact/touch switch rig on a stealth drive bay cover to use for opening/closing a DVD drive (or two). I've seen kits online for the switches, but they say 1" ² for the touch plate, would a 5.25" drive bay cover work (with...
are = aren't?
If you are using them in a fanbus, I'm sure their LEDs would be plenty bright enough. You don't want to light up the entire room with them, trust me, bright LEDs are annoying unless you are lighting up the inside of your case with them. And it is hard to say which size you...
I don't know, coolerguys.com's website sucks, and I still haven't received a response from my technical qualities email request I sent over a week ago. I can tell you they are extremely bright though, even at 3.3v.
Thx for the heads up, Teancum. They've been running for days so I think I'm in the clear, but only time will tell. They are high output blue LEDs, so they should be better able to handle the high voltage than say, a red LED. Anyhow, I went ahead and did my MX300 as well. Here are pics of...
