    touchpad randomly shuts off

    I had that problem with my dell i2650. I used to hit the windows key in xp and that would get the touchpad working again. In nix I did not have that problem. Who is the maker of your touchpad?

    The drive has a loudness of 26dB. In a case this drive is inaudible, so by adding movie/music to your environment all is well. EX: A friend of mine sat at my computer yesterday while the TV was on and had to double check that my computer wasn't off.
