    Google for "Distressing" or "antiquing" one way to get a weathered look is to use a lighter stain than the logo then sand irregularly. The hard grain of the wood will sand back to light wood leaving a heavy graining pattern. You can also beat it with a chain. Or there's scortching lightly.
