    Come to think of it, it might not be seated correctly, the pivot lever on the HSF sure went down hard, when I get off work I'll check the bracket and make sure that nothing is snagging it up.

    I wiped off the thermal paste that was on the HSF and added some arctic silver 3 that I had laying around. But it hasn't done anything. I think that the HSF that AMD supplies is pretty craptastic.
