    ASUS & [H]ardOCP Haswell Z87 Motherboard Giveaway! Week 1

I consider 95% the floor of my efforts, but it would certainly be the starting point to achieving even higher results. In other news, I fully plan to take this saved time and browse the GGW section of Reddit continuously while ripping movies/CDs with my new i4770K that I would purchase as a...

I really wish the Asus Formula or Hero was available to buy, very disappointed and I hope I do not pull the trigger on something else.

ASUS Z87 Motherboards - Overview, Guides and Official Support

Thanks for the great info. Really hoping those come in soon, Motherboard is my last part to pick and really like the ROG Hero. I have been reading a lot of the last few days and vaguely remember that model coming with "ROG armor" is that integrating the TUF solution onto the ROG boards...

HP Overpacks Just a Bit for Power Cord

We had one of our fiber SFPs fail at work, RMA's it and Brocade sent us a complete Silkworm 4100 with about a dozen SFP in it. Not exactly the best use of their shipping dollars since they had all the documentation as it was an SFP not a fairly expensive fiber switch.

BFG NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 OC at best buy $297

The Colorado Springs stores both had these in stock, I finally relented yesterday after my sons 8800GTX finally died. Trickle down upgrading nets him my GTX 260 and I get a new card, not a bad deal.

Circuit City Jacks Up Prices For Liquidation

This seems like liquidation 101 to me, as the exact same thing happened at Computer City when I worked there in 90's. The best deals actually were when the company knew it was going to liquidation, but had not sealed the deal yet. Basically any of the last minute sales were as bargain as...

And, the Best Performance Card for the money is?

I just pulled the trigger on that BFG Tech GTX 260 OCX version. I had a small credit left over, but $284 after rebate was comparible to the Asus 4870 1GB I was holding out for, but they kept going out of stock. In my option both would have been great buys, with the slightly cheaper Asus card...

This is the entire reason we went to VMWare, yes virtualization is nice, but the Distaster relief component is just plain bad ass.

We are already running active/active in a cluster, but on our new setup we really only want to Virtualize for Distaster Recovery anyway, guess we will try it out cause we got some spare time with the other system still up and humming along. Thanks for the answers guys, great forum as usual!
