Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
now kids, don't get all insipired and [H]ack into your 74GB Raptor to put a window in. The slightest amount of outside material can render a hard drive useless.
anyways, great mod, looks fantastic. Too bad the hard drive was on it's way out.
it's not gonna hurt anything if you leave it out. maybe some extra dust will get in there, but it won't be anyhting bad. I've had to leave out an I/O shield plate and there was nothing wrong with it.
i second that. your 9800 pro is a fine card. If you upgrade to anything, it should be a X800XL at the lowest, but a 6800GT would be ideal. that's what I'm getting and I have the near same setup as you.
if you play games that render 3D graphics in real time.....no. actually, it really depends. tell us more and we'll tell ya if it'll work for what you need.

Indeed. I RMA'd a BFG cause it wasn't running correctly and I wanted a refund (usually they don't waive restock fees on refund) but the dude i talked to was really awesome and waived it for me. It's [H]ard for me not to buy from newegg :p .
i had the BFG 6800NU for a few weeks and it didn't perform up to par.....even in an A64 system. It also didn't unlock all the pipes, but I sent it back cause it simply wasn't getting the frames it should have. I don't think I'll go with BFG again unless I find a good deal on a 6800GT (doubtful).
