    I'm pretty sure that Sandisk used liquidmetal for the cases on the e2xx Sansa mp3 players. I have one myself, and while I haven't done the bounce test (and am not likely to), the liquidmetal backing is really resistant to scuffs and scratches. It's a really good choice for casing.

    A lot of dvd's are interlaced. There's the whole "CableTV maxes out at 1080i" issue, so a lot of HDTV rips are interlace (I believe). Deinterlacing is a pretty valid issue, though it might be tough to know if the unit is doing the deinterlacing as opposed to the tv.

    Be aware that nVidia's multi-monitor solution can be a bit finicky. The nvidia panel claimed to be outputting 1440x900 to my 20" lcd (proper resolution), but in fact it was outputting 1280x1024, or something similar to that. I had to go with the latest beta drivers to resolve that issue.

    SB65G2 optical audio problems

    I recently purchased a used SB65G2 from a forum member, and it's been running fine for about 4 days now. However, I recently plugged the optical audio into my reciever to test out that functionality, and discovered that it had intermitant dropouts! It doesn't seem to be related to CPU usage...
