I played in the stress last Friday and I think that the GPU usage had been sorted out by then. With a 560 TI @ 2560x1440 I was hovering in the 40s for FPS. I went ahead and snagged the 670 either way, so I doubt I'll have problems with the release version.
Now I just need the game to come...
The only thing I could maybe possibly see myself doing in the future is a PLP configuration if I could work it out, but definitely not something crazy like 3x LLL 27" 2560x1440.
I'm sure that if I go to those lengths I'll probably have no problem reselling the 2gb card if I had to (if it...
Aside from the AMD recommendation (in an nvidia post) it sounds like you guys think GTX670 FTW is the best buy right now. If I think I might SLI them down the road am I really hampered by going 2gb instead of 4gb?
Looks like the GTX670 FTW is around $400 so that's not a problem either.
Thanks!
I've currently got a 560 TI 2gb card and it's just not quite cutting it at 2560x1440 in the Guild Wars 2 beta.
Looking for suggestions for upgrading video card. I'm keen to stick with nvidia, but I'm trying to decide between 660TI (or 2x SLI?), 670, or 680. 2gb or 4gb?
I'm a fan of best...
Here's the 'blue dot' problem I mentioned earlier. Top left of the image. Sorry for terrible cell phone pictures, but it's hard to take a good picture of a black screen. Monitor is a Crossover 2720 MDP.
Any idea what caused those blue dots? I don't see them in anything but dark colors so it...
Bought the Crossover 2720 MDP from bigclothcraft and I didn't notice any major flaws with it at first but after a while I noticed a clump of what looks like stuck pixels (shows blue on black screens - can see them on the no signal test screen). They're top right center and it looks to be at...
Monoprice is a great vendor, I actually just ordered some stuff from them this morning. I'm in Oklahoma and using the cheapest shipping they offer they always get me my stuff inside of 3 days. I've been buying a ton of cables and connectors from them while working on my home theatre project...
No more Maxtors for me. Lost two of the 160gig PATAs after 1 year 2 months of service. Just out of the warranty period. Yay for quality.
Great deal though cost/storage wise.
