Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hey guys,
I purchased my first gaming monitor to use with my XBOX 360, and my 360 is pre-HDMI. I'm curious if I should convert the VGA to DVI, or just stick with VGA.
Monitor: BenQ RL2455HM
Source material: CoD Ghosts multiplayer, and perhaps some older CoD titles. No movies. Any newer games...
Thanks a bunch for the thoughtful replies.
After reading them, I went back and did some more research and still feel the BenQ is plenty of monitor for XB1 gaming.
That said, just how much better do you think the BenQ will play than the older Dell? In regards to what's been discussed that...
Hey guys,
I'm looking for a monitor for my XB1, which simply means that 60hz will suffice. It will be for competitive FPS.
I've always been a "couch gamer" but want to try out a computer monitor + desk. From this I hope to gain a little more upright, attentive of a posture, and hopefully...
OP says one stick is bad. Thus I was able to deduce that the motherboard memory slots aren't bad because the good memory stick works in any of the main slots.
So, how can a motherboard be "bad" besides this? And if so, how do you deduce it enough to justify an RMA?
SSD LowPowerMode idea didn't work. I didn't have Error 9 in Event Viewer. I did the registry trick anyways and I'm still locking up.
Thinking about installing D3 on my HDD and seeing what happens.
Updated OP with a YouTube clip of the lock.
Heaven results:
Default pass: 60fps, 1,500 score, 30-120 min/max
With vSync: 40fps, 1,000 score, 20-60 min/max
Temperatures:
CPU: Ranging from 23c-53c across all the cores
GFX: 34c-59c
I don't play any other games, so I can't test that way unfortunately.
Updated OP under "have tried."
Disabling sound altogether didn't work. Neither did reinstalling D3.
