Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I had this problem after switching to an HD3870 from a 7800GTX 256mb. Original settings that worked with the 7800GTX were:
P5B Deluxe
E6300 CPU: 2.8GHz (400x7)
RAM: 800MHz
Vcore: 1.3250
Vmem: 1.9
Other volts auto.
I tried just about every other setting, but nothing fixed it. Going to stock...

I can't believe I used to lug this thing to lan parties.
Thanks for the replies.
I have a dell d1626ht 21" trinitron crt, which will only work at 1600x1200, and only if I turn it off and on when the video mode is already set to 1600x1200. This is the resolution that I used when this was my main display.
Also before this issue happened, when it was set to 1280x1024 there...

I havent seen it anywhere though.
I have an issue with the screenduo, where windows automatically installs it, but the software needs the driver that comes on the cd. I've tried manually installing the older driver, but I'm using Vista Ultimate 64 bit :(. The sideshow doesnt show any devices installed either.

After a lengthy search, disabling the plug and play service fixed it. The onboard audio is the problem. Now to see if it is a driver issue. Also the unknown device turned out to be the ATI t200 unified avstream driver, which didnt show at all with omega drivers, but now shows (though not able to...
