    Sure they do. If people hold off on buying AMD because they hear the Conroe is so much better, that's good for Intel. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying their claims are false at all. You aren't seriously saying that just because an Intel employee says it's fast, it will be, are you?

    I don't think you grasp the concept at all, especially since you're just talking about measuring the water temperature alone. If my CPU block does a better job at transfering heat from the CPU to the water than yours does, what good is it knowing the temperature of the water?
