Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Aha - had my keyboard plugged in with a USB A --> C adapter, and while it was being recognized in Windows, it wasn't being detected during bootup. Connected it directly to a USB-C port, and I was able to get into the BIOS by mashing delete. Still saw some really strange boot behavior, but after...
Asus X870-I motherboard.
I've been having some stability issues while at idle recently, so I want to flash to a recent BIOS to see if that fixes anything. Trouble is, I don't get a BIOS splash screen on boot anymore. Sometimes it takes several minutes to boot, sometimes 30 seconds, but the...
With the iPhone 17 event in early September, I think I'll hold off on my phone upgrade for another month. Might still go with the Pixel 10 Pro. Hopefully there will be more info regarding these early issues by then. I'm not terribly concerned about the underpowered (comparatively) chip, but the...
That's a bummer. I keep my phones for 3-5 years, so this might push me toward Apple. Got a Galaxy S21 currently, and I'm ready to move on from Samsung bloat.
My S21 is getting a little long in the tooth, and I'm eyeing the Pixel 10 Pro. Probably either that or switch to an iPhone. I have a desktop PC, a MacBook Pro, and an iPad Pro, so the iPhone would fit in. I think I still prefer Android, though. GF has the latest iPhone Pro and I have to admit...
I love small builds. I don't do them for friends, though. Too much extra time investment. They get nice easy mid tower builds :D
I like having a small PC on my desk. Ports easily accessible, away from dust. Cool and quiet. And it looks nice. Plus I occasionally travel with it and it fits nicely...

Based on my limited reading, they seem to attempt a fix if the set is relatively new and parts are readily available. Given the age of your set, I'm guessing they'll go the replacement route and you'll get a C4 since those are still in stock.
I've been tempted to get the Best Buy protection...
I missed the boat on the Harmony remotes, but from all accounts they were the best. I think the X1S can do most of the things Harmony could do in a bit more modern package, but some people still use Harmony remotes for a reason. They were that good.
I broke down and bought a SofaBaton X1S recently. I'd been using their cheaper model for a few years and it's been good but not quite good enough to use as a universal remote. The X1S is pretty good.
