I am pretty sure it is not a short or electrical issues(Well, faulty parts problem at least). My sandy bridge setup did similar things whenever I turned off Spread Spectrum in the Bios. AFAIK, it's most likely one of those flukey Sandy Bridge bios issues more then anything based on what ya'll...

I got my e-mail from newegg concerning my AsRock P67 Extreme 4 on Friday the 11th. Pretty excited to get things rolling as I've been waiting to do some case mods and other things until it comes in. :)
Currently am running off of an as rock p67 extreme 4 b2 and I am loving it. First intel as rock board and they selling some amazing product at great prices. No problems at all especiallyonce I moved to the bets 1.60 bios this thing pushed a i5-2500k to 5.2ghz no probs
The retailers are giving that April line still a lot of the time, but I highly suspect AsRock boards are already being received by said retailers as they are currently being sold at certain others.
I'm currently still waiting on newegg.com to get with me about my AsRock P67 Extreme 4 :(
I say two options personally. Get a Radeon 6950 and be happy for a while, or possibly get a gtx 460 or even 5770 for cheaper and wait for the next gen cards.
Surprised no one has mentioned this, but the current 500 and 6000 series are extremely limited by both companies having to stay at...
What 2500k overclocking issues? If you mean we can easily overclock to 4.4ghz or possibly 4.5ghz with next to no problems at all, then you're right?
Sure.. maybe some people run into issues above that... but uhh.. That's 4.4ghz+.. of course there is issues.
