Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Yeah my one died a long while ago, figured I would try one of those Zalman northbridge heatsinks. I admit they aren't designed for it but I just used some thermal adhesive and it is still working after a year, however your low height requirement is likely to rule them out.
Well I already knew what he was like having heard and read a few things of his before so I decided to spare myself the boredom of downloading the QC keynote speech.
Unless the MP side of things improves significantly via mods etc I don't see a lot of people buying it, especially when you consider most will of finished the SP game before they could of even bought it legally.
I expected nothing less than the 6800Ultra to be faster than my 9800XT, the question should be will it be fast enough to beat ATIs next card...not that it matters to me because I have every intention of getting out of the silly cycle of wasting my money on graphics cards.
Nowadays people seem to call games great just because they have nice graphics...would you call dog shit great just because someone had wrapped it in nice paper and given it to you as a present.....until you unwrap it you never know what you're getting.
Most processors bought are not oced, including Prescotts once they start to ship through Dell, Compaq, etc.....in fact most people (General Consumers) won't even realise that they have a Prescott and even if they do they will have no idea what makes it better apart from the PR used to sell it.
In my humble opinion I reckon the first batch of mobos/processors based on the LGA 775 design will dissapoint and none of it will be around in any real volume until later in the year.
