    TYAN S8812 / 4x 6168 4P RIG

. Now that I have new my 4P rig up and running, it is time to sell my old 4P rig. I wish I could afford to keep both of them, but I can’t. You cannot overclock the Tyan motherboard, but it is very stable. I have not had any problems with this rig at all. With the 212+ HSFs, my temps are usually...

    TurionPowerControl 0.44-rc1 is out...

I ran the "sudo apt-get install g++" and then the rest of the TPC install procedure. At first, I thought it was going to work, but now I get the following error when I run "sudo tpc -temp". If I try to re-make TPC, I get the following error.

I'm trying to setup TPC on Ubuntu 12.04. I did install the "ncurses-dev" before I tried the following. What am I missing?

    Big Beta Kaput?

My 48 core rig hasn't done anything other than P8101 for the last 10+ WU's. I've tried both the -bigadv and -bigbeta flags.

Looks like it may be time to switch to v7 of F@H

I'm running v6.34 in a Linux VM, but I have not received any A4 core projects within the last 10 wu's. May have to try v7, and see if I start getting any A4's. 10% bonus would be nice.

    Big Beta Kaput?

Yes, there is a huge difference between the 8101 and 690x wu's. Hard to accept the drop in PPD sometimes, but you just have to fold what they send you.

    6903 Frame Time Question

Thanks again Tear. :) I flashed the memory 1 cpu at a time without any problems. I ran Memtest86+ for about 2 hours without any problems. The server is now back up and running again, with the memory at 7-7-7-21-1T.

    6903 Frame Time Question

Yeah, that worked. I was able to dump all 16 SPD files, and it appears that the md5sum's are the same.

    6903 Frame Time Question

I don't know if it matters, but I renamed the eeprog..... directory to be just eeprog. Shorter to type.
