• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Can someone please help me with understanding this... VOIP related...

PBX systems usually digital. Even the 15+ year old Rolm/IBM PBX we had used digital phones, etc. It depends. If VoIP is going to cost an initial investment of say $10K for the gear (IP PBX, handsets, etc.) there could very well be savings after X number of months. I would say this, let...

    Home Networking Problem

Maybe try calling your provider, they could be having issues in your area causing the cable modem to loose sync, which, until you power cycle it could be causing your issue. I'm grabbing at straws, here, but that could be it, or maybe the cable line from the street is damaged somewhere. Ask...

Weird upload speeds on comcast, any idea why?

I also have Comcast and get 12,000-16,000k down and 1,100-1,500k up. With their 6MB service you should be getting over 1.2MB downloads for periods of 20-30 seconds.

Best Buy Clearance - BFG - GeForce 8600 GT OC for $45.99

That is the same deal that happens with Wal-Mart with laptops during Christmas time. They gott 15-20 per large store, 5-10 per small store and the employees get first dibs... That happened at two of the local Wal-Marts in my area for the past 2 years.

Effectively protected underground cable the UberGhetto Way?

How many sites have you been to and see this first hand? I have personally been to several dozen across 4 states. The water mains that are installed in every city coast to coast in the US, at some junction do leak... So while the water pressure is sustained, the pipes which are 40, 50, 60+...
