    (Refurb) Logitech Bluetooth Headphones - $33.99 @ Meritline.com

Update for anyone who cares... So you guys were right and meritline was lightning quick on the standard shipping - dare I say quicker than the egg. Very happy there... As for the headphones, they feel pretty solid and flexible enough to fit my fat melon so far. The manual is a joke and the...

Pioneer Plasma:Buy one, get one free

I always think this is funny - what's the first thing you have to turn down on your plasma so you don't burn your retinas or be forced to watch CSI: Miami in "Red Face Mode"? Yep - brightness and contrast...

    Best deal on plasma?

LOL I'm lovin' my 50" Panny TH-50PX6U for $1899 from Costco! Can't beat that free lifetime upgrade plan - er, um I mean "Satisfaction Guarantee"!!! :D

    (Refurb) Logitech Bluetooth Headphones - $33.99 @ Meritline.com

Not sure about the seller (resellerratings seems pretty favorable) but this looks pretty warm if you're trying to go wireless and don't mind refurbs... Link Note: A little googling shows that some of these might have been fragile but Logitech addressed the issue. I'm thinking this may be...

    Gateway NX860XL @ [H] Consumer

After reading this and many other reviews and comparisons, I ordered my wife a NX860XL yesterday. I was still very surprised at how easy and dummy proof all of the configuration optons were on the web site (as opposed to Dell's web site). At $1650 for the baseline machine, plus an extra AC...

    Gateway NX860XL @ [H] Consumer

Does anyone know (or care to speculate) if these NX860XL's would perform more like the E1710 if it got a fresh new (aka non-Gateway restore CD) OS install and new drivers? The specs are too good to pass up for the price, and the first thing I'd do is wipe all that bloat and restore partition...

    Dell’s UltraSharp 2005FPW widescreen 20-inch LCD monitor.

I'm interested in this display, but does anyone know if the coupons are instant off or if they're MIR? If it's $389 instant I'm in...

buying screen for new apt, $1000 to burn

The downside to a front projector is daytime viewing if you don't have control over your ambient lighting. A decent EDTV 42" PLasma would fit the bill if you're doing mostly movies or some Xbox/PS2 here and there and won't have the same ambient lighting or wide angle viewing issues as FP's or...

    Voltage and LGA775

I've been running my Deleron 2.66 (stock 1.285v) at 1.45v without incedent for about 3 weeks now on stock LGA HSF w/ AS5... My CPU temps only went up a few degrees from stock... I wouldn't worry about a +.2 delta on the vcore.

    Side fan blowing out?

You need to test it both ways because I actually get a nice temp drop CPU, GPU and pretty much systemwide (via diode) when I use my side fan as exhaust. Convection and air escape can be a mysterious thing depending on what case you have and what components. Just keep an open mind and experiment...

    Intake/Exaust

I would agree with above except on the side fan. My A64 System one in my sig actually drops 2°C ambient, 5°C GPU (via RivaTuner) and 3°C CPU (via diode) when I use my side case fan as exhaust instead of intake. As a rule of thumb lately, I've doing from 1:2 to 3:4 ratio on intake:exhaust and...

    Why did you choose Intel?

Simple. I chose Intel this round because I wanted to build a PCIe rig and Newegg was outta stock on NF4/939/PCIe boards at the time!

Any info on getting past the 915/925 PCIe lock issues?

Yeah, my bad. There is a crappy aluminum passive sink clamped to the NB, but the SB is wide open...

Any info on getting past the 915/925 PCIe lock issues?

Well, I've gone up +.2v on the NB and I can up to +.4v, but how much is too much? The NB on the v915p isn't even passivelt cooled. It's just a bare chip. Are there any good NB cooling solutions out there that won't require holes in the mobo PCB for mounting?
