    DFI Launches ARH171/ARH173 Motherboards

Yeah that's how I rolled too back then, UV-reactive IDE and floppy drive cables. I used multiple cold cathode UV lights in my systems. Even now I still have 4x 12" blacklights in there. Back in the 90s and 2000s I used to say if I ever did custom watercooling I was gonna have UV-reactive dye or...

Any free independent newsgroup software to grab NZB files?

I spent years using Newsbin Pro 64 (which I actually paid for), but I eventually switched to SABnzbd. The latter works out great for me cuz I can use it in both Linux and Windows. Newsbin Pro 64 was just for Windows.

DFI LANPARTY LP UT Ultra-D NF4 Motherboard w/ Original Box & Accessories

My NF4 northbridge chip died in about a year. I built the system in Summer 2006 and by Fall 2007 it was done. Ended up building an Intel X38 system in January 2008. In the meantime I had fallen back to my single-core 32-bit Athlon XP "Barton" 3200+ machine (nForce 2 board). That was painful...

DFI LANPARTY LP UT Ultra-D NF4 Motherboard w/ Original Box & Accessories

I have one myself: Still got the board and the box sitting in my closet. I paid $140 for it in 2006. I still got a graveyard in my PC room! Bottles from all the different flavors of BAWLS that I tried. Used to be a staple at my gaming group's LANParties back in the 2000s and 2010s. My local...

    Chromebooks in school

There's a lot to be said about the time period a lot of us grew up in, when we went to school in the time before the World Wide Web and smartphones. Or even a bit later, back when the most advanced space-age tech you could bring into a classroom was a Ti-83 (or similar variant) graphing calculator.
