The way I understand it is that any game that always runs over, say, 60fps all the time or 99.99% of the time will be fine. I can't say for certain but it sounds more like bad slowdown in FPS rather than stuttering. Of course I could be wrong! :) Some particle affects used to and still do cause poor FPS.- DragonRR

A lot of the video shows stuttering when moving forward and strafing. He appears to have a logitech G11 which is wired so I suspect the stuttering is related to the graphics cards. From my personal point of view microstuttering, when it occurs, makes a game pretty unplayable. With a single GPU you can get slowdown yes but not stuttering (unless something is wrong). The youtube video posted by gerrson shows the stuttering, it doesn't look all THAT bad but it "feels" much...- DragonRR

Update: Had a problem with the Sony P234. Now when switched on from cold I get a very high pitched wobbling noise from the screen. Quite loud at first and fades to almost zero after half an hour or so. I've put another post on the boards asking for help with this because other than the noise... -

Sony P234B Noise problem!
I have a near perfect Sony 23". It WAS perfect but now when I turn it on it emits a very high pitched warbling noise. The sound is really annoying. When the screen warms up the sound gradually diminishes but you can still hear it easily for about 20mins and after that it goes very faint... -

HP L2335 23" 16ms... sweet
Martin64: One dead pixel is very low although mine didn't have any - how you got someone to agree to no faulty pixels is beyond me! I had similar issues with bezel and base scratches & dents, their QC sux. Uneven backlight.... Have you checked this by moving your head around? If the problem... -

Question on LCD response times
Thats a great post by Synful Serenity and I agree 100%, from my own experience there doesn't seem a great deal of difference between the 17" 12ms Auoptronics panel and the LG-Philips 23" 16ms panel from the ghosting/blurring side. I've been wondering about this business with some people not... -

Should i get a TFT or a CRT for Gaming?
I (finally) changed from large CRTs to large TFTs. TFTs do still ghost, even 12ms ones, but you don't notice it much when you actually play games unless you look for it. I've played MP in LAN sessions when I still had a CRT who were using 16ms+ TFTs and they didn't seem much affected at all...
