    I am absolutely positive kirbyri, that the boot disks are not corrupt. I have made a total of 5 Acronis boot disks. And I have also tried Partion Magic & Drive Image rescue disk. All were unsuccessful when I attempted to boot from them. :rolleyes:

    Thanks Deb0, for your response to my problem. I made sure that the drive that I was attempting to boot from was listed in the bios as the 1st boot drive. When the rescue disk in the disk drive or floppy disk is accessed the prompt reads Acronis loader started... But the application never loads...

    I'm unable to find a solution to my current problem which is not being able to boot from Arconis True Image rescue disk or PartionMagic rescue disk. I have an Asus An832-SLI motherboard, AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400, 2 gig of Corsair XMS 3500XL Pro, with Windows XP Pro SP4. I put this system together...
