Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Ok an update on this. I made the mistake of updating my BIOS and it trashed my RAID install, so I had to start from scratch again. Thought it would be a good test anyhow... well the issue remained, even though I skipped the key this time, I simply could not get this activated without Microsoft...
I think this is where I tripped up. What I should have done I think is NOT entered the key during install, and tried the phone activation instead. I bet it would have worked. Nevertheless.. Microsoft got me fixed up so even though I couldn't understand the nice Indian lady at the other end of...
I do not recall seeing one either, but Microsoft still honored it as a valid pirchase and re-activated me anyhow. Had I known it was going to be this kind of hassle I would have opted to just buy a retail copy instead. I bought the full copy as I was not ready to give up my Win 7 Ultimate...
Posting this here as both a question and FYI for anyone that may run into this in the future. Last November, I purchased Windows 10 Pro (full retail) from the Microsoft Store as a digital download. I found it strange that they did not send me a key, so no problem I'll just use Produkey to...
Awesome.... thank you! I opted to skip the M.2 for now.. went with a pair of Samsung 500GB 850 Evo's instead that I'm going to run in RAID 0. I'll probably eventually upgrade to the Samsung M.2 drive, but want to see if the price comes down first over time.
All the parts are ordered... I'm...
Hi guys... planning a new build and I am looking hard at this motherboard combined with a 6700K and 32GB of RAM. I would also like to purchase the new Samsung NVME drive (http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-950-512GB-PCIe-NVMe/dp/B01639694M) to use with this board, but I can not determine if the M.2...
Ill throw in a vote for FlowRoute... I've been with them for almost 5 years with a ported landline number even and the quality has been excellent and price is cheap.
I'm using the FreePBX distro in a VM and have a Polycom 670, 650, and a handful of ATA's to connect standard phones to.
I have 4 Western Digital WD20EFRX drives that I purchased for a server project, but I am unable to utilize them.
$80.00 each, or $300 for all 4 plus shipping.

Hoping someone can answer this, as I don't have any direct experience with it, and Supermicro has been helpful, but not helpful enough :(
For starters... I have this case and motherboard:

Just deployed my first SLI setup with a pair of MSI Nvidia 680's. I noticed there are two connectors on each card, I only installed one bridge, do I need to install both? What is the second connector for?
It works as expected, but was just curious if I was missing something....
Where did I say that one was more reliable than the other? My point was simply go for what's best for your particular application. I wasn't debating which one is better than the other, there was no "feeling" about it for me. I don't have time for the care and feeding of a DIY NAS solution...
Ditto.... my thoughts exactly. I was running a small FreeNAS box that I built using spare parts I had laying around, and while it worked fine, I never took it serious enough because I didn't feel comfortable trusting my critical data to it, plus I was running out of space on the two 1TB drives I...
I just faced this dillema myself and it came down to either building my own ala FreeNAS or going with something pre-built instead....
You called it! Go for a Synology ;) lol all jokes aside it's been great and I love the AD integration they have built in, it's even more robust in the DSM 4.2...
Sub'd.... just found out about this wonderful little gem today and have pre-ordered one. I'm hoping to replace my Cisco 1811 with it as this will do everything I need it to that I have implemented now. Reading through this thread I also just learned it's based on Vyatta which is based on Debian...
