    HTPC Case recomendation

The Silverstone ML03 meets the size requirements: http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=283&area=en But the only way you'd fit a 120mm fan is to cut one into the top yourself. Its a pity that the ML03 front panel is a bit cheap looking. Its the perfect size for a hifi component.

    WoW Cataclysm - $9.99 B&M Target (YMMV)

The other good thing about the SoR realm transfer is your friend can make a new level 1 on the realm+faction of your choice and send the invite from there. Then you can also create a new toon as soon as you accept the SoR, but before you apply the bonus. So you can get a level 80 toon of any...

Using laptop dvd drive in desktop case

Has anyone had experience with using a latop dvd drive (eg Sony AD7710H01) in a small form factor case? I'm planning to mod a small case (either matx or itx) without sacrificing airflow too much. Using a laptop optical drive is one space saving move. Another is to reduce the size of the PSU (eg...

    The lightest case possible.

The Antec Lanboy (and Superlanboy) are very light.

Asus P8P67-M pro cold boot issue.

I have an old Asus P35 board that does exactly the same thing. I though that was normal Asus behaviour.

    Silverstone ST45SF SFX 450w PSU

The ST45SF is a great psu for SFF cases like an SG03. However are Silverstone or others planning to make similar SFX supplies in larger capacities? eg 750W

Alternatives to SG03 for m-atx gaming case?

I like the idea of modding a PSU and cramming it into the space at the top behind the cdrom. That way the volume over the CPU is clear. You can then mount a tower cpu cooler and a 120mm rear exhaust fan

What's most important to you with regards to GTX 460?

The 460 seems like overkill for a htpc. But for a gaming PC, it will do well as long as it sells for at least 20% less than a 5850.

    nVidia 460 vs 260 vs 8800GTS

The reviews ive seen put the 1GB 460 within 10% of the performance of a 5850. So its a contender. However, where i live the intro price for the new nVidia card is within 10% of what a 5850 goes for. So unless the price falls, the 5850 is a little more attractive.

    Smallest internal DVD burner?

It seems most PC internal optical drives are still around the 148Wx42Hx170D dimensions that they have been for years. Is there a smaller alternative available? A laptop-size drive with SATA connectors would be ideal.

NZXT’s new VULCAN Micro ATX gaming case

Its a reasonable looking case. But why'd they have to make it so large (particularly deep)? Its nearly the size of a normal atx mid tower.

    SG-03 build feedback

Would there be enough room in the roof of the SG03 to cut a 120mm hole and mount the H50 there? The two front fans would be intake and the H50 would exhaust out the top.

    Quiet CPU cooling in SG03-F

I'm looking at putting an SG03 system together very similar to that in the OP. I'd like to relocate the PSU so that its in the roof of the SG03. That would allow a tall cpu cooler to be used. Plus i can put a 120mm exhaust fan in place of where the PSU normally goes. The hard part, of course, is...

    Silverstone ST45SF SFX 450w PSU

I wonder if you could mod+cram an ST45SF into the roofspace of a Silverstone SG03? That would let the cpu breath much better and allow for tall coolers and a big rear exhaust fan!
