If you are on a shared plan, then upgrading every year isn't nearly as expensive as you might thing. It's roughly $250 total premium over a 2 year contract period. Just out of curiousity, why not just pickup a 24" Samsung from Costco or something? If you don't need the wide gamut stuff, then what reason is there to get an ACD? Apple/NEC/Eizo/etc put out some really fantastic monitors, but the business/professional models really aren't designed for... -

No need to go balistic just yet. Lets wait and see what Apple can come out with as far as adapters. They are still having trouble getting some of the already announced adapters out (mini-DP => dual DVI for 30" screens come to mind). I do think we will see some DP => Mini-DP adapters... -

What group did you add him to? "Administrators" (with the s)? If he needs to have access to do basic stuff, it is best to give him as limited access as he needs. Ordered T61 yesterday
He may have done it through the bid computers on his states education porthole. Those computers come standard with a 3 year warranty so an extra year would be relatively cheap.- Devin
