    i was under the impression the adapters didn't do anything over 1920... is that the case with yours? I already have a Gefen adapter but I didn't think it would work because of the conversion limitation.

    yeah i don't really know. that's why i was asking for rec's... also the monitor in my sig is actually 1920, but the monitor i will be using with this video card is a 27" imac with mini-displayport input. thanks for the tip about the open box MissJ... $375 sounds pretty good for that card.
