    ya.damn crt's :( my old monitor I had on 60hz at 1280x1024 and thats the only way it would function at that high res. and it was dying aswell. :( stupid concave lines. oh well. now im happier then ever :) and my eyes don't hurt at all. now i can spend hours typing into VIM without my eyes bleeding.

    Samsung 930B. Not so good for competitive gaming (a short review).

    im not a competitive gammer but i only notice slight slight ghosting within fast racing games. fps including cs1.6 and css doom3 and ut2k4 have no ghosting that I can see. movies also play great. maybe my eyes aren't as good as yours.. but I like it alot better than my analog CRT.

    that is true. i had to spend $100 on the cable. the matte finish is good. there is no glare at all. i also have no dead pixel issues. @jackkoho: futureshop canada ( like bestbuy )
