    Played a good portion of the day today, Ice shot. I'm roughly at the end of act 4 and not really trying to go fast (doing all of the quests and clearing areas). Build seems complete OP. Game is in the best shape it's ever been in I'm really enjoying it.

    I got laid off right before christmas of 2015, for a month, I was Geralt of Rivia. Some of the most fun shit ever. I was playing on a 1080p plasma TV and a Radeon Fury Nitro, intel 2500k. One of the most fun gaming experience I ever had, now the formula has been beaten to death.

    I played last season, it's probably in the best place it's been in honestly. The game still zooms and has a great feel to it once your build is up. They added a ton QoL to it as well.

    That is WILD, but i totally get it. I was in West Virginia recently and could walk anywhere near this 800 foot cliff that's a scenic overlook after a hike. I never think about it in games at all, and it does make sense that fear registers.

    The new expansion looks absolutely insane. I can't decide if I'm going to play this league, or wait until December for 1.0. Jonathan made it pretty clear 1.0 is launching this year, and that patch is even bigger than this one. They said they're announcing it at exilecon in November.

    Huh, I'm playing D4 on PC and I've had worse stalls / stutter in this game than PoE 2, but I also played PoE 2 last season. Can't say anything about steam deck in particular, so it might be a different bottleneck.

    I feel like Micro-led + wireless at a reasonable price is where we'll see another VR take-off. It's going to be a while though lol. I haven't really used mine in a while because it's getting warm outside and I don't want a sweaty trashcan on my head. PSVR2 is great, but I wouldn't recommend it...

    The blizzard of old is dead, polish is no longer a thing there. It really is the least refined game they've ever made. It feels like any other studio could've made it. It's an average game, not a great one.

    I'm enjoying the campaign so far, I played through a good portion of it last night as the paladin. I don't know if the game is better than before, or if the paladin is just well made so it's more enjoyable. But so far I'm having a good time. I'm guessing once I hit end game I'll get bored...

    To stop doing that or? I don't understand the wind hatred, there's no one size fits all solution to energy. 100 percent agree that we need a moratorium on data centers until the infrastructure can handle it. We don't have the energy capacity.

    What a headline, it's almost like we've come up with better, safer ways of building nuclear power plants over the last 40 years. Not switching to nuclear is basically national suicide at this point.
