    www.powernotebooks.com has some pretty good notebooks, for less than 2000US you can get a 17" screen, P43.2, 1 gig ram, 60gb 7200rpm drive, combo dvd drive, XP pro, and built in wireless... plus if you want to spend more you can add a tv tuner and stuff.
