    Well, I think it was the 20gb hard drive. It makes sense, it's the oldest piece on my setup. I think it was getting ready to go... I re-installed windows on my 60gb and all is fine so far. Thanks for the help.

    Already done that. :\ I'm looking at the windows performance monitor with the line graphs. Everytime the system pauses the line JUMPS up.. what does this mean and what can the graph tell me?

    Or should I ask, is there anyway to recover these? The disk hasnt been formatted... but of course the items weren't moved to the recycle bin either. I'm sure companies delete things on accident and need to have them recovered. Does anything still stay on the disk?
