can a dremal be used to take rivits off?

There is absolutely no use for purchasing a Corded drill. A simple Cordless does the job fine. So unless he has the need for drilling through 5mm steel, a corded drill is overkill.

    lian li v1000 vs. v1100

I have the V1100 and am extremly pleased with it. The PSU does NOT lean on that metal bracket. There is a quite big gap, so the fan has no problems with blockage. I have had both cases home in the choosing progress, like you I couldn´t decide. However I experienced that the V1100 seems...

can a dremal be used to take rivits off?

I would not advise you to use your Dremel to remove rivets. Unless the surface they are attached to is completly useless. I don´t think it is possible to cut them off, without damaging the surface. I always use my cordless drill to remove them.

Project : Liquid Metal (Many pics Inside)

Looks very impressive. I like the to top blowholes inparticular. Btw, on that last picture; Is that a spider to the left of the front ? Sorry, but I couldn´t help to notice.

A new champ!! The ugliest, hands down, case in existance!!

My god. That thing is a disgrace to all cases. Only a mother could love a face like that. The really sad thing is that people will most likely buy tons of them. So there are probably mods of those to come in the new year

    Lian Li pc-75 tray?

Unfortunantly the Pc75 series doesn´t come with a tray at all. I think it will be quite a while before BTX hits the charts, so I wouldn´t even consider it, when purchasing a new Lian Li. I have had a few Pc 70/75/73 series and it never crossed my mind, that it would have to be BTX in the future.

    The Lian Li Gallery

It is not the camera that gives it that apperance. I simply used Glowmotion, and am not using speciel UV lights, just ordinary Blue CC´s.

How Do You Pronounce "Lian Li"

What´s the point of pronouncing it with the silent H ? I mean, when the H is silent, how are you able to pronouce it ? Just a thought ;) It´s pronounced as many have already said, Lee Ann Lee

    very, very noob in dremeling.

Np maestro. Well a thumb rule is to use masktape. It secures against scatches and reduces the edges flossing. It simply is a must. The blades I usually use are the Diamond Reinforced cutting blades. They are quite expensive, but last a hell of a long time instead of the std blades. Remember...

    very, very noob in dremeling.

There is no such thing as a stupid question, unless you already know the answer ;) You cut a square hole, that fits inside the screwholes on the outside of the radgrill. Then simply drill 4 holes and mount.. It is very easy.

    The Lian Li Gallery

That is a very valid point. I did a "mod" on a Shuttle once, that really have all the waypoints that you would call a mod, but I see your point that these two, are very limited in their complexity, and are to say the least simple as hell to perform. Sounds good. A picture is worth a million...

    The Lian Li Gallery

I my eyes, a mod is not the dertermination that something has been cut with a powertool, or any drastic measures have been made. A mod i simply an alteration of the original design, and can be done by lights / h2o / Phase Change etc etc. That is simply how I see it. What would determine a mod...

    The Lian Li Gallery

Here are a few of my Lian Li mod´s. These are relatively simple, but I am working on a V1100B now, which should be done by January. I will post that mod, when it has been completed.

    The Coolermaster Gallery

    I´d though I would post my old Coolermaster mod. Keep in mind this mod is from back in the day when Prommy mk2 was new on the market, and the casemod accessories were very limited ;) Here goes;

    Wiring On Super LANBoy (pics)

A quite good idea. I have used the same idea before, and it actually works great. It tidy´s up the case quite a bit, when losing those IDE cables. + you can route them anyway you want depending on which mb you have. Looking forward to the end result. Perhaps consider sleeving the PSU cables.
