    That's what I figure, but the stock cooler will most likely be too loud, undermining the efforts to silence the rest of the computer. Maybe I'll get the waterblocks and set up a separate loop for the GPU that is external, like the Zalman series reserators.

    Thanks. This monitor arm (Steelcase, $50 from eBay) is extremely sturdy and infinitely better than the desk I had the 2405 sitting on earlier.. Doesn't seem like there are many arms, only wall mounts, for the 30 though.

    Haha, I'm glad everyone enjoys my setup. That lamp is an Ott-lite Vero. It tends to be a bit on the bright side but its one of those "ergonomic" lamps so the light it produces is very clear.
