Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I think the Apple iPad 2 can be a pretty good deal for a teacher. I use one along with an LCD projector and an Apple TV for mirroring.
I love being able to show any content via WiFi to my LCD projector from my iPad 2. I can use it as a whiteboard, or to run any app or show any textbook that I...
Long time lurker here. I have to say that the fixed width design doesn't seem very [H] or high tech. The site looks like one of those cluttered Gamespot pages. Yeah, there is enough content that I'll stay around, but I really hate what's been done to the place. Contrast that to what they did...
It can be a problem even for those using other monitors. In my case a Samsung 213T using DVI of course at 1600x1200.
I get a thin blue line at the top of my screen on Windows XP Pro bootup.
With HL:2 I get a "shaking" effect at times as that display line alternates. Very irritating...
There is a "jittering" or blue line problem for some monitors running an SLI setup.
It's not just a widescreen problem, since I've had to deal with it on my Samsung 213T at 1600x1200.
Running games in Windowed mode or at a non-native resolution (less then 1600x1200 in my case), or not...
Yep, when is this problem going to be fixed?
How about [H]ardOCP adding it to their Nvidia SLI progress report next time they do one of those?
For those that are affected it's a major problem.
ASUS SLI Deluxe
FX-55
6800GTx2
Well of course the answer is that if that really happens and it's not a paper launch fanatics like me will pick up an R520 and farm out our SLI cards to their other systems. But hey, that's just me. ;)
Well I tried out the rename the file to doom3.exe trick with FS 2004.
SLI mode was activated (as evidenced by the green HUD display with "Show GPU Load Balancing" turned on).
No change in FPS was noted. This was at 1600x1200 with all sliders and options maxed out including clouds, draw...
Heh, what a great community. Long time lurker until I posted today.
I'm going to try the re-name or maybe mess around with editing the xml file tonight. Interesting ideas. Gotta go do an interview, but I'll post up my results later if someone else hasn't by then.
I did try out FS 2004 after I made the posts and read the article, to see what the difference might be. Despite the profile being listed, it does not seem to benefit from SLI.
I tried the global profile with multi-gpu enabled, and it also did not seem to make a difference. More specficially...
I think I need to point out that Fuzzb's post #29 lists all the games that are already supported with the current Nivida drivers. At least from what I can tell.
Just glancing through the list those are the same games I see when I look at my "Applications Profiles" for my 6800GT SLI.
That...
I just put together a 6800GT SLI setup. FX-55, 2 GB Corsair 2-2-2-5, etc.
When I look at the profiles in my "Applications Profile" drop down boxes I see a lot more games listed then what the article mentions.
Flight Sim 2004 is listed.
So are quite a few of the major flight sims like...
