    i wanted to make a back up copy of one of the dvds i own so i downloaded dvd-shrink to do so.. everything worked fine until it asked me to insert a blank dvd.. i put in a memorex dvd-r recordable and it said disc in drive unrecognizable.. i tried a few of them so it wasn't an issue with one...

    Strange thing happened while downloading SP2

    so i took the plung and downloaded sp2.. it was downloading under the windows update icon in my task bar..the icon disapeared so i assumed it was done and i was not prompted with anything so i restarted.. again nothing came up.. what the hell happened?
