Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I use the MS Sidewinder for two reasons:
1st - I like heavy mice and it has weights you can add.
2nd - as already stated, the side thumb buttons are easier for me to use than other mice. I have big hands and generally rest the heel of my hand on the mouse pad and manipulate the mouse with my...

I am using the 56.72 drivers. It has...
CPU fried: Athlon XP 2600 - it worked when I initially put it in with default FSB, so I changed it to 166 (333) and it never worked again. Local PC store verified the CPU was fried.

Thanks. I don't think I did that, but somehow my CPU fried. I just got back from a local PC shop and they confirmed the CPU was dead on two other MBs. I didn't grind and corners, nor did I burn it out. Damn thing was a little funny from the start and wouldn't boot at 333, so I always was...
I initially got it to boot one time, went directly into the BIOS and set what I thought to be the correct settings, now it won't even POST or beep. I have a sneaking suspicion that I was sold a fraudulent CPU as when I tried to set my old MB to 166 it wouldn't POST either, but at least with that...
I've always been partial to Crucial memory and haven't been burned yet. Nice thing is you put in your MB model and they spit out a list of memory they guarantee to work.
