Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
That doesn’t really matter. Each of the those EPS 8pin cables are rated to deliver 300-380w power. You can easily and without issue run most if not all modern CPUs on a single 8 pin cable. It’s only for serious overclocking that you actually need to use both cables. Most motherboards have 2 8pin...
@ arestavo, I'm pretty sure littlegreenmenfromhome is here intentionally trolling. I don't know why some kids get a rise from this and make stupid comments like calling industry wide standards for measuring CPU performance stupid and telling people to go back to console gaming if they don't do...
Well at 4K with RT Overdrive and multi frame generation muddying it up, it's no wonder you're not seeing a huge difference. It's really hard to diagnose anything when you introduce MFG into the equation, no baseline to reference no idea how many actual frames rendered vs generated.
If you only lost a few FPS there was already something very wrong with your 9800X3D. Cyberpunk is a known game that hugely benefits from 3D Vcache CPUs, I don't think it was the storm that killed your CPU, I think it was already on the way out and it was just a matter of coincidence in the...
Synthetic benchmarks don't really benefit much if at all from the X3D CPUs. Try it in actual games and you will see a quite drastic difference between the 2 CPUs. It really isn't even close in most games.

Greetings folks today I have for sale a Lenovo Legion 5 Slim 16” laptop. It’s in great shape, no scratches or scuffs, screen is also perfect. This is a 16:10 aspect ratio laptop giving you more vertical space to work with.
AMD Ryzen 5 7640HS (Zen 4 CPU)
RTX 4060 (this is the full 120w TDP...
I should have been more clear, I guess I mistakenly assumed with your "expertise" we we're on similar knowledge footing and took the obvious for granted. The 5.6Ghz is done by simply setting a 56 ratio and manually adjusting voltages. The 5.5Ghz I mentioned was in fact set with PBO with a...
I honestly forgot about this thread but I have nothing to validate to you and I'm well aware of what a CPU can and cannot do. I've been overclocking and tuning PCs since before you were in diapers when we had to manually move jumpers on a motherboard. Thanks for your "warning" but I'm in no need...
Simple, turn on the ray tracing options on your current hardware in your games and at whatever resolution you play at. If you are satisfied with the performance and settings, then the answer is "no". If you aren't happy with your performance and settings then the answer is "yes". You don't need...
I'm sure the 9850X3D will overclock. My statement was referring to the price comment above mine. You can save money and get 9850X3D performance by just overclocking a 9800X3D. Why is that so hard to understand? I'm sure the ceiling will be higher on a 9850X3D but for the baseline 5600Mhz it's...
