Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Got it working...
Ended up with:
@ECHO OFF
FOR /F "TOKENS=2-4 DELIMS=/ " %%A IN ('DATE /T') DO (
REG ADD HKLM\SOFTWARE\PGA-IGA\PREP /V INSTALLDATE /D "%%A\%%B\%%C" /F>NUL)
del %0
I have a need to update a specific registry key with the current date on the first boot of the machine after it is imaged.
Additionally, one issue is that the slashes have to be reversed. For example, if the date is 08/16/2009, the registry key needs to be updated to 08\16\2009.

Ok, so let me begin by saying I'm in no way a gamer. I may download and mess around with a demo every now and then but I'm far from a hardcore pc gamer. Simply looking to bump up the lowest part of the system.
As it is right now, I'm using a VisionTek Radeon X1300 Series 256mb PCI-e card...
Finally got around to putting together a htpc and just found out about hdbits...
Would love an invite if anyone has one to spare. Many thanks in advance.

Actually it's not that bad. It will run Office apps, browsing, etc, etc. Most anything you normally do with a laptop. Of course it doesn't have the specs to do much grunt work or developement. It's not that I try to see what the lowest system is that I can get it to run, but I ended up with...
Sorry guys for not updating when I said I would. Had some things that kept me busy. Ok, well back to the subject. After I removed the Virtual PC Additions, then sysprepped my Virtual PC again, made the image, it worked perfect. The previously mentioned issue of the mouse and keyboard not...
Well, I haven't been 100% successfull yet, but this is what I've done:
- Created a new Virtual PC using MS Virtual PC.
- Before starting the Virtual PC, go into the options and add a secondary virtual hard disk (VHD) that will show up in your virtual machine as an additional hard disk...
Ok guys. I sysprepped it, and successfully imaged it. Threw the image down on my laptop, it boots into the mini-setup for XP, but my keyboard or my mouse do not work. I remember reading something a day or so ago on some site about having to do something with removing the "virtual input"...
Ok, I may have a solution. I'll give it a shot when I get home and post the results. After roaming around on Robert Moir's site ( http://www.robertmoir.co.uk/index.html ) who's site seems to be the "Virtual PC Bible" of sorts, you can add a secondary VHD in your Virtual PC that shows up as an...
