    Well they are adding the feature as an afterthought. The ATI chips have hardware dedicated to run the 6 displays. This is something they planned since very early in the chip design so it's only natural they have a more elegant and convenient solution than nVidia in terms of multi-monitor support.

    As soon as you have a monopoly the benefits of a free market are loss. The consumer ends up paying more for products that are not as good. It should be common knowledge that monopolies have no place in a healthy economy.
