Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks for this! I'm waiting to get a case before I start messing with my Touchpad (stupid shiny plastic back), so I'm bookmarking this thread till then.
Woo, getting one off Newegg! Showed in stock this morning when I refreshed the page randomly, and I jumped on it with quickness

I have an Auzentech X-Meridian, based on the C-Media chipset. While it installs and works fine under 64-bit Win7, the whole computer freezes if you try to open the soundcard control panel. It seems like the 32-bit panel gets installed somehow. I was wondering if anyone has found a work-around...
That's interesting, I haven't thought of connecting them in parallel, I wouldn't want to risk that. I wonder how passing through the amp works though - so I connect the RCAs to the amp, and then the subwoofer crossover splits off the bass portion that comes through the high-level inputs? So PC...
My sub has high-level ins and outs, I would hate having to run sound through an extra device though. I already have a discrete amp and a setup I like, I'm just doing a bit of research in case my main card decides to fake its own death again.
Which one to choose? The STX sounds perfect for my needs (2 channel audio - no need for a headphone amp though), but I would prefer an easier subwoofer hookup and a crossover controlled by software, which the HDAV seems to provide (at least with the Deluxe's add-on card). How would I integrate a...
