The only thing really 95% confirmed is movies are coming to iTunes (or whatever it may be renamed, since it's not really "Tunes" anymore). New iPods are most likely coming as well. Metal nanons are the current prediction. A 23" iMac rumor has surfaced and has some potential.

I'm a senior in college and I bought my Powerbook 866Mhz G4 as a senior in high school and it's still very quick. I'm buying a new MacBook because I need to run Windows on the go now.

However, I think this is a special case right now because
a) The update will likely come in the next few weeks, which isn't a long time to wait for an investment that will last you for several years. Now if an update was months away, I think I'd just bite...
I'd be saving about $10. I may be [H], but I can spare $10 to have it installed beforehand and not have to wait for RAM to be shipped out to me. ;)
