Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Did a Google search to see if anyone else was getting these, and came across this thread.
I got 4 of these on my Q6600 @ 3.0 Ghz machine... I'm getting 650 PPD each on these - for a total of just over 2600 ppd. That is more than double what I was getting with the ambers, so I'm happy :p...
I overclocked my G0 Q6600 to 3.0 on default voltage, with the stock intel heatsink for 2 weeks. It never got above 72 C, but I didn't like it that hot, so I got a Scythe Mine cooler from Microcenter, and now it never goes above 55 C.
I got my Q6600 G0 stepping to 3.2 Ghz on the stock cooler, with stock voltage. (with Vdroop, it is running 1.224 v). Running folding 24/7, it was too hot (70+ C). I decided to drop it to 3.0, and it levelized at 66-68 C.
I got a Scythe Mine cooler at the local Microcenter, and it is now...
I have a 30 capper 2.4c that ran 3.0 for the past 3 years, on stock voltage (folding the whole time!). Right before I upgraded to a Q6600 I wanted to see what it could do. It ran up to 3.2 on default voltage w/ hyperthreading. With Hyperthreading off, it would run 3.4 on default voltage...
Yeah - I got one the week they came out. It is a great little add - on and certainly worth the $200. I've watched a few movies, both HD-DVDs and SD DVDs. To answer a few questions:
Think of it as a USB 2.0 add-on drive - it can read the files, but you need either a PC or the 360 to...
Great game!
It reminds me a lot of Quake 2 in game speed and weapon damage. And, the multiplayer reminds me a lot of Rocket Arena 2. I'm sure there are other games out there that are set up similarly, but that's the first thing I thought.
In response to a few posts from yesterday, I am...
I would vote CRT as well, as long as you can deal with the large size and weight. The Picture Quality is great, it handles the SD signals as well as anything else, and you will be able to get a larger screen size for the money. You really should go to HD cable or satellite if you are going to...
This is an example of the free market doing what it is supposed to do. If someone wants a unit that will display HD signals, get one that does that. Some people don't care as much about the HD sigals. For those people, there are consoles out there that don't display HD resolutions...
Oh, definitely. I very clearly stated what it was. I guess there is quite a demand out there for "broken" ones - apparently people fix them and use them or re-sell them. I got $175 or so for it I think.
Gears of War
Forza2 if it's out in time
360 wheel if I get Forza
I did the whole buy and ebay thing with Xbox 360's last christmas - did that with 4 of 'em, and kept the 5th. It just died, so I ebay'd it and bought another. If I get the opportunity I might do the same with the PS3. The...
2 pics - not the greatest with the camera, but you get the picture.

From the top of the stack:
Xbox 360 Core w. HDD and wireless networking (I went with wired controllers because I don't want to screw around with batteries all the time)

Didn't really camp out so to speak, but I did get up extra early and showed up at 4:10AM at Target. Got in line (I was #41, they had 43 tickets to hand out at 6AM) (22 "premium" and 21 "core"). Went home and back to bed - wife picked up the system and it should be waiting for me when I get home!
I actually bought a Gateway 6020GZ about 3 months ago. It has a 1.4 Ghz Dothan Celeron M. I have been very happy with it - mostly running email and word processing, but the occasional photoshop work. I have been very happy with this particular computer - both with the computing power and the...
