    2GB Ram in Mac Mini

    I don't think 2GB is overkill. It could be very usefull for artists and muscians using the Mac Mini as a portable studio. You could also use 1GB of the Ram to create a Ram disk and run applications from that for increased performance and less wear and tear on the harddrive.

    Apple often underspecs their Ram compatibility (for various reasons). I noticed on PriceWatch.com today that you can get PC2700 compatible (the same kind as Mac Mini) 2GB sticks for $276. Apple charges over $400 for a 1GB stick. I'm wondering if the Mini can, in fact, handle 2GB sticks...
