Official ASUS Response to Resume/Hibernate Problem with Internal PLL Voltage Enabled

HMMMMM Mine's a Sapphire Toxic with the secondary BIOS that's available via switch and runs at 6970 speeds default. I haven't had it lock for a few days now. Will pay attention when it happens.

Official ASUS Response to Resume/Hibernate Problem with Internal PLL Voltage Enabled

I have a P8P67 Deluxe/2600K running at 4.8 Ghz 24/7 OC. The build is about 1 month old and has been running the 2001 BIOS from the start. About 80% of the time it resumes with no issue, the other 20% requires a complete shutdown using the switch on the PSU and it tries to restart several...

Sapphire 6950 2gb Dirt 3 version, not unlockable

Thanks. I confirmed that the card keeps the clock settings from Trixx. Bumped it to 900, killed Trixx and GPU-Z still shows 900. Now on to overclocking.

Sapphire 6950 2gb Dirt 3 version, not unlockable

OK this is really strange. It says 880. I don't load Trixx with Windows and it also says 880. GPU-Z shows clock and default as 880. It must be PEBCAK, but I swear Trixx showed 850 right after flipping the BIOS switch. :o

Sapphire 6950 2gb Dirt 3 version, not unlockable

Mine's not Dirt 3, but Toxic. Got it last Friday. Installed loaded Trixx had 1408 shaders, shut down flipped the switch and Trixx shows 1536 shaders. What's weird is mine's clocked at 850 MHz, not 880. Upped to 880 in Trixx it runs fine.

SAPPHIRE TOXIC HD6950 Video Card Review @ [H]

Thanks. I guess mine's just an oddball. Since it runs fine at 880 I think I'll keep it. My luck a replacement won't unlock.

SAPPHIRE TOXIC HD6950 Video Card Review @ [H]

Got mine on 10/28. The 6970 BIOS unlocked the shaders with no problem. Here's what's weird - My factory clock is 850 MHz, not 880. I pushed it to 880 in Trixx and it works fine. Anybody else have a recent card to compare stock speed? Dunno if it's worth an RMA or not.

Official ASUS P8P67 Series Overclocking Guide and Information

Got it stable at 4.8 by turning off CPU Spread Spectrum (may or may not help) and upping LLC to Extra High. Under load it goes up to 1.44 volts and I had temps in the mid 80s on the hottest cores during a 2 hour prime run. Added a 2nd fan to the Mugen and that's keeping it down to 82 max...

Official ASUS P8P67 Series Overclocking Guide and Information

I'm running a Deluxe, BIOS 2001, 2600K, 16 Gigs G Skill Ripjaws 1600, Scythe Mugen 3. Built it about a week ago. My CPU seems to really like the voltage. To get 4.8 GHz stable at all required ultra extreme settings and core 1 & 2 were at 90C within a few minutes of prime 95. With less...
