At the AMD Tech Tour I went too, they said they will never impliment Hyper Threading because it's virtual dual core...they're doing the real thing, they're gonna create cpu's with actual dual cores...

ABit motherboards tend to read temperatures 8-10 degrees higher than they actually are.....
If you're really concerned, touch the heatsink on your CPU while it's running, if it's cool to moderately warm, you're fine, if it's at all really warm to approaching hot, then you've got some problems....
Hey all, on my system, with my Thermalright SLK-948u, my temperatures are at approximately 30 idle, 35+ load....I have a panaflow fan on my heatsink....

Yes, the entire P4 platform will change eventually with PCI Express, BTX, and new socket design...so don't get too discouraged about Prescott's performance now...just think of it as "The NEW Socket 423"
