Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
ok. I also believe it has been hacked. There is no chance the password could change itself.
The router is in my home. I have no guest or anyone coming to my house in the last 2 weeks.
No one has used my desktop or laptop, so physical hack is not possible.
I willl turn off WPS & SSID if that...
Here's the background:
I have Dlink DIR-600 N-Lite router for my simple need of internet sharing (to my laptop & blackberry).
Firewall enabled, Wireless security set to WPA2.
I've been using this for 2 years without a problem....until yesterday.
Suddenly, my laptop & blackberry couldn't connect...
Oh well. I used System Restore to go back 1 month, and it finally disappears now.
Geez, I find Win7 so much more confusing than XP. Many settings are so well hidden from user, and they are not structured logically. THank you guys
Here's the problem.
I installed Connectify (www.connectify.me) sometime ago to create a software access point for my Asus notebook. I created a new SSID name for this access point, which I named iConnect. Later on, I uninstalled Connectify, but iConnect is still listed in my Wireless Network...
Ok. Good news. Now I got upto $1000. I have better options.
I can buy Turion M620 (6GB + Radeon 4650) for $920 or Intel i7 (4GB + Geforce GT 320m).
Does i7 really outshine M620 by a lot ?
How does 320m perform ? I search everywhere but ...no reference at all.
Update:
I got a little...

Guys, do I just enter "QUAKECON" in the Discount Coupon (Redemption Code) to get $20 off ?
Can I order 2x or 3x (using the same login) to get 2-3 units at discounted price ?
Thanks
Thanks for explaning it in details, but I'm not sure I understand it from the restoration point.
What you explain could be understood from the image-creation point, where the software copy the data bit-by-bit ignoring whatever filesystem in the source drive/partition, and then mark the section...
I've been using Ghost for years, and I know it can restore to unformatted partition. I've been doing this and it always works. But I'm always curious whether there is a danger of data integrity when I do this. For example, I restore a small partition (with only 100MB of data) to a new 500GB...
Woblin,
The Eraser works perfectly. I just deleted some files and unerase utility can't pick up the their names anymore. The best thing, it is free :D
Thank you
The only problem now is how to remove the traces of the previously deleted files before Eraser was installed. .I have...
Hi,
I tried to delete some files securely by using File Shredder utility, but I notice that they can still be seen by Unerase utility. Although these files can't be restored successfully, I still do not like the fact that unerase utility can still show the names of the deleted files.
Is...
Need some advice.
Somebody gave me ECS 915P-A, memory, and everything except processor.
Looking at the mobo's spec, it seems to support P4 3GHz 630 with 1MB cache, but all I could find is P4 3Hz 631 with 2MB cache. Could I assume that this 631 processor will also work in this mobo ...
hi. Thanks for replying.
The image is somehow corrupted. I have checked my CD's surface and found no problem.
It looks like the image has been corrupted even before I wrote the CD.
I finally went with PXC's recommendation using Ghost Explorer to extract all the files in the image to the...
I made an image of my XP partition with Norton Ghost 2003 (DOS) and somehow the image has CRC32 errors when restoring some unimportant files. I don't want to reinstall my XP from scratch, and I want Ghost to continue cloning, but it always quits when errors found. I have tried to use...
